WELCOME TO HEWLETT BAY PARK!

The Incorporated Village of Hewlett Bay Park established in 1928 is small close knit community of about 147 homes within 0.4 square miles of Nassau County’s south shore. Each parcel of land is on at least 1 acre, which gives the community it’s countryside like aesthetic, as well as waterfront properties along Willow Pond which leads out to Jamaica Bay. Residents with waterfront properties have the option for a boat dock or jet skies during the warm spring and summer months. Driving down our streets you get the feeling that you are not in Long Island anymore, no concrete sidewalks that take away from the landscaping and no overhead telephone or cable wires draping along our streets.

Within our Village we have a one of the top rated high schools in New York State. George W. Hewlett High School is also a National Academy of Music, Arts & Science as well as 1 of the 3 CISCO CCNA Academy certified schools in Nassau County. The school district is comprised of Franklin Early Childhood Center (Grades Pre K - 1), Hewlett Elementary School, Ogden Elementary School (Grades 2 – 5), Woodmere Middle School (Grades 6 – 8) and George W. Hewlett High School (Grades 9 – 12).

Hewlett Bay Park is a safe, family orientated and a welcoming community. The children of our village create lifelong friends with the neighborhood children, excel in their schooling and become successful adults, which makes Hewlett Bay Park a perfect place to raise a family.
